The use of containments are the answer to keeping mold spores from migrating around your home during remediation. Mold spores use the air flow patterns in your home to travel throughout the house. Cutting into a wall with mold will only make it worse unless SERVPRO of Carrollton does all they can to keep the mold contained.

Mold Damage Contained

Setting up a containment is done by placing plastic sheeting around the contaminated areas. Inside the containment we add a an air filtration device that is constantly moving air from the clean areas into the contained areas. The positive pressure from outside the containment allows our technicians to work without worrying that the mold spores will find a way out. The contained area will have all the work done and tested for mold spores before coming down to begin restoration.
